Paid Review -- Online Business Journey (3)

After trying the online business model of PPC and affiliate marketing, this is the case of paid review business model. How much revenue that you'll get for a paid review?. The simple one web sample, lets say that you have PageRank 4 website, then the average revenue for the first month is about 50 USD to 100 USD. The revenue is depends on how you much revew request that you'll get.

The complete simple case for paid review:
1. The initial moeny that you should invest is 0 (null)
2. Build a free blog, either on wordpress or blogger/blogspot (I would prefer blogger, cause you could extend it to advertising business model)
3. Write a topic that's hot in populated country, for example Indonesia, you could write about the
new telecommunication Operator (ie. Axis)
4. Gain your reader by promote your web to mailing list or private forum(ie. company private forum, mailing list or alumni mailing list).
5. Made your self a credit card and register to paypal.
5. Register your blog to reviewme or blogvertise.
6. Start doing your review request

What is Affiliate online business model?, basically this type of business model is something that known as the middleman, you dont have to made your own products to sell, all you need to do is just sell others people product and get commision for product that you sold to customer.

Then what is PPC, PPC is an avertising model that based on click, for example Google Adwords. So, how to combine the PPC and Affiliate? it is simply to put your affiliate product promotion link in the PPC to generate the sales :P.

Then hows the steps:
1. Register your self to Affiliate website - ie. amazon affiliate, commision juction(for walmart and others)
2. Register to PPC website - ie. Google Adwords
3. Made your self a promotion in PPC using your affiliate link
4. Monitor your promotion and research the best keywords
5. After several months, entertain yourself with motivational pics :D

Awal tahun ini beberapa blog terkenal di Indonesia, sebut saja Life Auditor, Business and Beyond, atau Sudut Pandang, ramai-ramai membicarakan tentang multi-function printer baru dari HP. Tak lupa di sebelah banner terselip banner HP dan event terbarunya.

Setelah membaca dengan seksama dan mendalam :), ternyata mereka semua mendapatkan seperangkat multi-function printer dari HP dengan me-review perangkat baru tersebut. Di sini HP memulai advertising cara baru dengan promosi ke situs-situs blog di Indonesia.

Yang jadi pertanyaan adalah, apakah ini adalah awal dari Profesional Advertorial di Indonesia?
Jika iya, siapa yang akan mengambil ceruk pasar advertorial ini?

BUMI and Indonesia Stock Market

PT BUMI Resources Tbk, or just for short we called it just BUMI. Lets turn the time to early 2003, back then BUMI stock traded in Rp. 90,- per share. Although BUMI is one of the Coal company that also gain some profit from the coal price rise, but as a small player in this sector, rather than KPC (Kaltim Prima Coal), the largest coal company in Asia.

Then, the shocking news came to the market. BUMI said that they'll buy KPC in the 2003, the realization of the plan finished in 2007. As the largest coal company in the Asia and the Global Warming issue in 2006-2007, then the BUMI stock price in 2007 reached Rp. 8000,-.

This early 2008, I bought some BUMI, at the price Rp. 5000,- with Target Price Rp. 6500,-. Why I came up with the 6500 rather than the highest price at 8000, because the Financial Report of Q4 2007 BUMI is not that good and thats why I came up with the number.

I get my 6500 in the end of April, but I didn't read the news paper when I decided to sell the BUMI. Currently BUMI doing some buyback to increase the share price, if I read the newspaper early in the morning I could sell it in 8000 :(.

But then, I still happy because I managed my Target Price and strategy succesfully :D.
